Specialist Services // Gas Testing Facility

Hirst Electrical recently installed a Gas supply and Booster with a capacity of 5MW at their Wakefield Works.

Initially this was used to Commission Generators that Hirst Electrical had previously built. However the facility has proved to be a great success with External Customers.

Hirst Electrical offer the following:

• Test Pad  Area  20mts  x 10mts
• Gas Capacity to 5MW
• Gas Booster
• Low Voltage Distribution System for Auxillary Equipment
• Lifting Facilities
• Resistive Reactive Loadbanks
• Bunded Tanks for Oil and Glycol
• Commissioning Engineer

The most recent test was a 2MW Bi-Fuel Diesel  running in parralell with a 1.4MW Gas Engine . This package was built, tested and then shipped to a site Nr Cairo in Egypt. The units were installed and commissioned on site  through Hirst Electrical's Electrical and Mechanical Division.
